In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
Reticle library · Nightforce
Drawn to scale from Nightforce’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 12 MRAD — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 23.3 MRAD; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Drawn from Nightforce Optics, Inc.’s published specification.

Official 2025 FC-DMx sheet, MRAD column: A=0.2 centre dot; B=4.25 segmented circle (outer); C=20; D=1; E=5; F=2; G=0.06; H=1; I=0.5; J=1.4; K=1. Sheet text: the grid extends to 10 MRAD. Two dots sit on the vertical axis ABOVE centre, at 1 and 2 MRAD, inside the horseshoe. The heavy bars carry hold marks: 15 MRAD on each windage bar, 15 and 20 MRAD on the elevation bar, each 3 MRAD long with the numeral knocked white out of the bar. Only the horseshoe and the centre dot are drawn red on this sheet - the comb, tree and bars are black - so unlike FC-MRx only those two elements are marked illuminated.
Rebuilt 15 Sep 2026 from the FC-DMx 2025 sheet (REV 0825), page 1, upper-left disc, at 6.668/6.693 pt/mrad. Page 1 of the sheet is to-scale VECTOR artwork, so this was read from the drawing operators rather than measured off a raster: every mark comes back as an exact rectangle, which is what catches a mark that is in the right place and the wrong length. Scale was fitted to the aiming grid (1 MRAD pitch to +/-5) with the optical centre taken from the centre dot itself. Page 2 is a raster and is stamped "Reticles not to scale" - do not measure it; it is useful only for reading which feature each dimension letter points at. All eleven published letters were walked and each one lands on a measured feature: A the centre dot, B the OUTER diameter of the segmented circle, C the windage scale, D the grid pitch, E its half width, F the heavy bar thickness, G the line weight, H and I the major and minor tick SPACING (not their length), and J and K the side and top gaps in the circle, which are chords measured at the outer radius. This SUPERSEDES the 11 Sep pass, which was made on a 400 dpi raster and got three things wrong: the bars were recorded 1.1 mrad thick where the sheet publishes F=2 and draws 1.98; their points were put at 12 and 15/16 mrad where they measure 10.45 and 15.1 across and 11.0 and 20.0 down; and the 15 and 20 mrad hold marks on the bars, and the two dots above centre, were missing entirely. MEASURED: windage to +/-10 with minors every 0.5 from 1.5 at 0.2 long (there is no 0.5 mark), whole mils 1.0 except 1 and 2 at 0.37, 5 at 2.06 and 10 at 3.0; elevation 1 mil marks 1.0 wide, halves 0.2, the 1 mil mark 0.5, to 10 mil. Circle outer diameter 4.24 against a published 4.25, ring 0.26 thick, top gap 0.98 (K=1) and side gap 1.37 (J=1.4). The bars end at the sheet's field-of-view circle, 23.3 mrad. 84 grid dots over 12 rows. Mark positions are put on the published 0.5 MRAD graduation rather than taken from the drawing; the largest correction that needed was 0.19 MRAD.
